I am hunting Spatsizi with a limited entry Sheep tag in august 08. I will charter into cold fish Lake from Tatoga lake. Looking for a possible partner to also share drive(flight) from Vancouver and hike in Spatsizi. clp

Srupp will chime in here, with all the bad things that happened re his hunt in there, but don't get too discouraged. There are other ways to go about it. Last years Resi harvest in the Spat was double of what it was the years before.

Definitely a few rams to be had near Coldfish.

Have a good hunt. If anything, Coldfish country is a beautiful area to hunt! Its too bad the ecological reserve south of the lake is closed....there are some super rams in there!!!

Just hit the trail to Bug Lake, and follow the horsetrail from there into the eaglenest range.

Spatsizi is a great place, been there before, not trying to hi-jack here, but since were talking about Spatsizi, does anyone know if you can still drive the up the 'GRADE" from just below Iskut off HWY 37 by Ealue Lake?
I'd like to drive up to the Eagle's Nest trail area, or can I launch a boat from the lake and connect to the Klappan?

Diito the road thing...it is in excellent condition.

I just heard from another member that Doug will not have his plane in Tattoga until August 5 so you may want to factor that into your plans.
