the challenge is on

today on the Fraser River a fishing challenge has been made.

Good grief the things men do when they have a few drinks together.

Leaseman(Mike) and his son vs Newhunterette's family (without Ali) are having a mini challenge of which boat can bring in the most sturgeon today.

so far the news is:

Azshia - 6'5" sturgeon
Braydon - 3' sturgeon
yeahhhhh for the newhunterette family

Nick - 3' sturgeon
wohooooo Leasman's son

great time had by all and lots of sun burns and tired faces :)

It was a great day out there for sure...Happy my favorite hole didn't let us down....

Still trying to figure out who was more pumped with the big fish, Azshia or Peter.... man there was a flurry of activity when that bad boy came out of the water and headed down river...8)

There was a fairly constant bite on all morning, we lost 4 fish (I blame that on the drinks Peter and Alison were pouring the night before...:roll:).... by 1, the wind stopped and it heated up something fierce!! That meant it was time to go play with the boats and get wet...:biggrin:

To make a complete day, we hall had a bbq at Newhunterette's place, story swapping and more BS....Thanks guys!!!

Can't wait for the next time!!!

the bbq was fantastic - Nick makes a great marinade and the deer chops were perfect as was the company

All kidding aside.......

I wish that you, Alison, were on our boat..... as I said, Nick and I pulled anchor and followed the action down river, approx 1.0-1.5 miles below the hook up....

The shear joy that Peter, plus the rest, showed was what family fun is totally about.... I feel very close to your family, being able to share this.... it is like a son or daughter taking their first animal.... something so natural, with pure joy!!!

We, as the Campbells, are proud to be friends with the Glinnums..... when is the next bbq.....8):biggrin:
