Chris,

Congrats to your wife. Was it taken with her bow? Should be good eating for sure.

BTW, any update on what the snow level is like for our Grizz hunt I talked to ya about near Barkerville?

Ian, it does not look good I'm afraid. i ran into a guide the other night who is usually hunting the same elevations as the areas you want except about 40 kms north. He was telling me they can't even get into the areas they normally hunt due to snow on the roads.

Justin, we haven't seen any coloreds yet but we haven't been hunting the areas that I would traditionally see a lot of coloreds.

great way for family bonds to cement and develope respect for ma nature. awsome nz vid as well, many peaple don't understand what damage introduced species can do in a short period of time if no natural predators exist for population control. good to bring out to the public eye, see you guys [chris , sammy, and famille ] at provincials hope fully, threedhunter:biggrin:

I just watched the video and it looks as though the bear was shot on the peak of a hill. I dont really know but in the begginers course on hunting I learned that you are not supposed to shoot animals if you dont know what is behind your target...is this true HBC? Where did the hunter in the truck go? Might have he been behind the other hill? Might have there been a deer there? Maybe its just me, but the video looks like it was on the top of a hill. I have heard that bullets can pass through an animal and keep going? Would other hunters here on HBC take that shot?

Wait a second.....Video is titled "sams 07 bear"! You trying to take some credit for last years bear?

heres the video to go with this bear!!
