Geeze, that was a great video! I wonder if that guy still feels the same way about arrowing one? I know I woulda got the calf as soon as momma left the scene. She gave that arrow the kiss of death. Thanks for posting, and just curious how did you happen across that video?

Happens all the time. Seems like some members don't give a F of other members threads. The one that really got me was when one of the members asked(Thread) What supports your habit? (for the verbally challenged- What do you do for a living??) -hundreds answered. Then a short time later -another thread-QUESS? What do you do for a living? The list goes on & on...

That is one great clipping ,thanks for posting it up. I thought that that cow was going to take a bite out of that broad head. It's amazing when you are dressed in cameo and don't move how you become as part of the forest.

Yes, but it's good to have Kirby back posting. He's been noticably MIA the past few months.
Go easy on him:wink:

I've had them close but not that close. Good thing she didn't find him as a threat and deside to protect her calf. Maybe she just needed a tooth pick!!

Who else calls BS on this video? (at least I think it is BS)

If you watch near the end, I believe that the "bow hunter" is a Manakin (sp?). Look closely and you will see is hand looks plastic and white and his thumb is sticking straight out. His hair never moves in the wind and his cap stays in place. Yes the bow moves around a bit, because of the wind and his head does move at the beginning, but that is a film glitch.

Watch and you be the judge.

i could see the guy as a manakin but the photographer must be real. he zooms in and out and moves the cam around.

No question the camera man is real, but he could be 10 feet or 10 yards behind the "Hunter".

Do not get me wrong, still a neat video.

Think about this, you can't be completely scent free as you have to breathe, that cow would have either trampled the guy or run away as the guy couldn't hold that still, hold their breathe and not have any eye movement to not alert the moose, IMO.

He moved right at the beginning of the video. He's real unless he's like that parrot on Monty Python:roll:.
