Yea I think I recognize the Tipis as well.
You guys have a 90's green dodge\canaopy in camp?
A character named Luis that drives a mid 90's chev 4x4 dragging an aluminum boat as a utility trailer?RB

I wasn't on this trip but if there was a green dodge that would have been Guss Rempel. He owns a green dodge with a canopy and is one of our hunitng buds.
And Luis was not there on that trip but i have met him there before. 2 years ago they were staying at the skunk camp.

Hey waistdeep, i dont think there was a Tim there.

Mark, that red ford is Hugo Warkentin. That meadow is great when you hit the trail right behind camp you can always count on waken a doe or 2. 3 years back my dad got his 4 point in there with Harry Warkentin.

358win Real nice bear thanks for the post.

mark if you talking about that last pic i posted, the ford with the white canopy and roof racks i believe the guy that looks like he is unlocking his truck is jake sawatzky and then hugo warkentin and then john siebert (from right to left)

You are scanning the entire surface area of the scanner even though the picture is 3x5. Re-Size the scan area when it shows you the first pre-view of the scan. Then scan it again, it will only scan where the picture is the second time. If you orient your pictures the same each time, you will only have to set the scan area once per session. If you are wrong in setting the size the pre-view of the scan will show you it by not showing the entire picture of showing more than the picture.

Hope this helps, if nobody let you know already...

Cheers, Bob

This 1/2 ton 4x4 on top of 3 logs tied together for ether side ,we made 4 sets up in order to get the trucks into the Redfern lake area off the Alaska hi way mile 178 ,pic was taken around Nov first 1973 ,you talk about work it took us 3 days to get into our hunting spot that was 56 miles in from the hi way 37 years ago I was a young man then ,you can see the 3 logs tied together in the front of the truck ready to drive off the other two that the truck is sitting on....

Can't wait for my son to come up in a few days to help me format my old pic.

those were the days. don't know we got along without quads back then. just a lot of determination and ingenuity i guess. my 4x4 3/4 ton ford broke throught the ice going in there one time and we had to cut a channel with power saws to get it out. around -40 in november.

the quick easy dirty way is to simply take a picture of the picture with a digital camera, otherwise you have to change you scan size or crop afterwards.
