Skid Plates for a Yamaha Grizzly

I was cleaning up my quad (2007 Grizzly 700) yesterday and decided to have a look at the underbelly, I noticed some fairly hefty damage to the stock plastic skid plates. I want to replace them with something a little stronger and found a couple of aftermarket products that look good. Richochet makes some nice plates as well as GYTR (which I think is Yamaha?) The price for the full deal seems pretty consistent at around $400.00. Does anyone know of a relatively close dealer here in the lower mainland that might carry these parts or is it going to be an order and wait scenario? Does anyone know of a good alternative product or have you had any experience with the ones mentioned? I want a good product and don't want to cheap out but if I can save a couple of bucks I won't complain:wink:. Thanks in advance!

I built my own out of checker plated steel....A few swings with a 2.5 pond hanner, over a steel railway rail and viola, done deal..

the royal distributing link above is probally your best bet ... simply because that where most dealers in Canada get their aftermarket parts from ... Unless you wanna go with factory ones again ...

But you strike me like how i think .... ie: " If something breaks ...replace it with bigger and better parts "

That said .. I seem to recall that North Shore Offroad has a fab shop ... get some custom built
I dont recall if they deal in OHVs or Quads ... but they would know how to get in touch with someone they trust that does....
