Thats close to my bear hunting area. I passed on a 3yr old(pretty sure) color phase on Friday. Lots of bears around, shouldnt be a problem getting one, all depends on how fussy you are. Rob

Deadman creek is a good spot . You head towards kamloops from cash creek ,just befor you get into savona you will see a road called deadman creek road ,head into there till you come to a why ,then turn right at the why ,head on up about 8kl and any wear from there on will be good for bear.

But there are lots of places around cache creek try heading towards logan lake the bears are jsut starting to make more appearences so may long shoudl be good around here!

Hahhaha they are easy to deal with, just dont cross there property:tongue:

Try rabbitt mnt fsr you might need a quad or maybe a sled seeing as i am stillon a sled there, but then again that blackie might beworth the walk "4.5 km open spot on the right side of the mountian glass the new green grass he will be waiting!

And if your lucky you will still be able to follow my sled trail right over to theopening and make that hell walk alot easier

I stay away from long weekends. Too many idiots and wannabes in the bush driving around looking for anything to shoot. Last time I was out some drunken jerk shot a loon between 2 belly boaters and then he took off leaving a bunch of very scared fishermen and some very unhappy people.

Some of them think they own the crown land and the FSR's there too.

Locals only! ;-)
