Nice Log!

Were we're out playing yesterday, and I got this picture of a pretty nice log, I guess my camera wanted the log instead of the deer! :evil:

Nice photo! You can clearly see the lichen and the cool patterns on the bark.

Derek..lol some days are just likje that huh???The set up would have produced a spectacular photo with tremendous color whitebalance and interesting setup..just a bit shy in focal plane..:wink:
I was out flying in a A-STAR yesterday and took over 300 photos en route..200 of em were junk for one reason or more..50 of em were yawwwwwwn..boring poor light poor white balance 45 of em were "ok" and 2 were good..and 3 were great..I stumbled up the right combo by eliminating all the ones that didnt work..seems to me about average..

That deer in the background really detracts from the picture of the log. Otherwise it's a nice picture.
