Where were you Steve?

I almost went out myself then I talked myself into the range - looks early yet.

Hmmmm I went out to Horsefly....way too much snow ...didnt see squat for bear sign...still 2 weeks at least...maybe 3...

Back in through beaver Valley saw tons of these big red headed birds..ok maybe only 10 or so...

The deer were everywhere I just thought it looked neat the deer ..and the old house..turned out just the way I saw it...

Gonna be "tight " for the mountain grizzly hunters the cariboo mts were TOTAL SNOW.. even Horsefly Mtn was snow on the MAIN rd..sheesh
not much green at all...lots of wolves and moose sign...

Steve I think those birds you saw were sand hill cranes. Saw one over here on the Island a few years back.

I went out for my first try today too. Saw two bears, one of which really tempted me but was just a bit small and the other one was just a little feller. Also saw about twenty deer a moose and some ditch chickens. Just felt good to get out.
