Shouldn't matter as long as your address is in the lower mainland just put in for north of 100 mile and you should get one.:biggrin:

just put in for an area different than where I am putting in for. Actually if you are just meat hunting go for one of the GOS Spike/fork areas.

Just put in for an area that you will actually go. Do a little bit of research beforehand. I hate the "I put in a random LEH into an area I don't know and I got it, what should I do now" threads.

Thanks for all the info so far. And there will probably be five of us putting in for the same area.
Thanks again Ryan

Pick an MU with odds that are less than 3:1 (as high as 5:1 if you're feeling lucky!) and put in as a shared hunt if you have a couple buddies. That way you'll have a realistic chance of going hunting - this is the biggest hurdle for most hunters to get over.
Region 6 and 7A are usually the best bets when it comes to getting drawn and being able to hunt the area.
You'll find some low odds hunts in Region 5 in November but access and moose can be tough to find at that time of year.

Depends on where u wanna hunt or what areas you know, north of 100 mile should be decent odds, you just gotta wait and see when the regs FINALLY come out.

I would put in for the smithers area ,fist time we put in there last year we had our bull down in a few days.
3-46 is about 1:1 odds of getting drawn. Not an easy hunt though especially for a newby.
