Region 3 Brown is Down!!!

Here is the pictures of before and after of a nice color phase my cousin got last Friday evening. He spotted a big black in an old orchard field earlier in the evening and put a stalk on it but the wind blew it for him. He came back a couple hours later and this coloured bear was feeding. My uncle was with him and took a few pictures with his digital before he dropped the hammer. Sako 75 338win mag and Winchester factory 225 CXP3 ammo and this fella made it fifty yards into a gully before piling up. Skinned the head out @ my place and put the calipers to the skull and got 20 2/16 green:-D. Hide with skull in layed out was 6'9" noise to tail. Nice hide and a great hunt for him! RAMSHOT.

Heading out for a four day bear camp in a couple weeks:wink:. Loading up the travel trailer, Quads, boat should be fun. They should be out pretty good by then. Just to get out of town and do some camping will be great! RAMSHOT.

Most of the bears here looked out their dens, saw a foot of snow, and hit the snooze button. I hope the foot of snow doesnt have to big of an impact on the waterfowl
