Hoping somebody in golden can help me out... I am wondering if there are boat launches on the columbia... I have to deliver a boat and do a test drive with the customer...

Sorry, no proper launchs in Golden. People launch smaller boats under the Nicholson bridge but it's quite dangerous. Best bet is probably Windermere Lake for the test drive.

How about at the Beaverfoot Valley crossing on the Kicking Horse ? I see rafters there lots.

The Kicking Horse is shallow, fast, and full of boulders, white water rafting and kayak water only.
