This years hunt turned out well. It was over for my Uncle, son and myself within the first 15 minutes of the season with 4 birds coming into our decoys at first light fly-down; bagged one tom and one jake. My friend arrived the next night and smashed a gobbler once again at fly-down the next morning within his first hour of turkey hunting ever with 2 jakes coming in and one tom staying elusive.
Can't wait til next year....I guess griz hunting in a couple of weeks will have to hold me for now.8)

Congrats. Looks like a great team effort. Did the youngest hunter come with you to watch ? Some times its hard to get them up early. What area of the prov. did you get them ?

Thanks guys,
I have been taking my son since he was 3.( he's 5 now ). I used to cart him around in a jogger stroller covered with a camo net, but now he walks with us. I also take him for archery elk and we had an awesome close encounter with a big 5 point last year. He calls for both as well as moose and is as good or better than most at getting up at 3:30 for turkeys.

Thanks Wetcoaster,

I used a 6 megapixel camera and a tripod and took lots of pictures to get a couple good ones. We have this designated "successful picture spot" nearby because of the panoramic scenery and good lighting.
