I have been looking into purching a Badlands 2200 pack. Duribility, quailty and no restrictions to drawing my bow are my top priority for choice. I prestently have a Pack Plus pack out of Oregon that has been excellent over the years. I am looking for a pack that has extra carring capacity.

Does anyone have a experience or comments about the Badlands 2200 Pack??

I have a 2200 and I love it. Have been using it for 4 years. I do find it a little small for my hunting style, by the time I put my spotting scope, tripod, video camera, digital camera and other odds and ends in I don't have much room left to pack an animal out. As for quality and durability I have yet to find better product. I have hiked with over forty pounds in my pack for 13 hours and my shoulders felt pretty good when I was done.
I reccomend Badland packs to any serious hunters that want a serious pack.

I also have the 2200 for the last two seasons. Easiest carrying mid size pack I've used [I've used a lots] and good quality. The only complaint I have is that it is a real pain to open the top main zipper. But the unique front load zipper helps make up for it. You'll like it, but you may want to consider the 2800.

I agree with bwhnter and StrinFling. I have the 2800 and it is awsome. I packed my mule deer off the mountain this year with it and have been on few long treks with bwhnter chasing elk and mule deer and the fit is very comfy.

Thanks guys for the replies and comments . I believe I have found a good price at bowhunters superstore the 2200 for 139.00 and 2800 for 169.00.

Picked up my Badlands 2200 at Cabelas in Lacey. Love the quality, fit and feel; seems unrivalled. Unwrapping the "bat wings" might become annoying, but I am very satisfied with the pack. Can't wait to load it with some game. I'm also looking forward to replacing it for free when I wear it out.

I love my 2200. I have used mine for 3 seasons now It is extremely comfortable. My elk decoy slips right in the "bat wing" and doesn't move. The pack doesn't hinder your shooting at all. I shot an elk with mine on two years ago no problem. They are very quiet and I like the narrow profile, it doesn't hang up at all in the bush. I also used mine on a week long canoe trip and it worked great.

Cool. I just ordered one on Ebay! It should be here in a week or so... $145 plus $30 shipping. Local stores didn't have a 2200 and wanted more than that!

I also have a 2200 and its awsome. But if you plan on using it for more than a day pack you would want something bigger.

So I got my Badlands and damed if the first time I tried to open the little zippers on the waste band the tangs broke off... cheap crap.. I'll stick a couple zap straps on item I guess.

Badlands has a lifetime warranty on all of packs, No questions asked. After hunting season is over send it back if it bothers you.

Badlands had a problem with counterfeit packs being shipped to some places. The zippers breaking that easily does not sound like typical Badlands quality. I would get in touch with Badlands they have one of the best warranty programs in the business.

Dwight Schuh has a pack named after him. This is a great pack. I don't know if they are still around though.

I have a horn hunter fanny pack with shoulder straps. All I can say is ,what an awesome pack. Great for short day trips.
I also own a eberlestock gunslinger as well. Another fantastic pack.

My advice from experience. Spend the extra money and get a good pack. Between just the two above packs I have over $600 invested. But I'll never have to buy another pack in my lifetime.

I got a badlands 2200 pack. Its handy and comfy but you cant overstuff it or overfill it as it loses its comfortableness fast. here is my review on it:
