snow levels near Grandforks?

Wanted to go to Grandforks and look for a color phase bear soon,has the snow gone from the mountainroads yet up by the Rock Candy mine?

judging by how most of the province seems to be this year I'd say that you will probably hit snow not to far up. I went for a drive the other day close to Salmon Arm and didn't get far before I hit snow on a south facing slope. I know Grand Forks and here are two different climates, but I think every where is still just to damn cold.
