Anyone going out for bears this weekend?

went out for a look today , hit snow at 6 k could not even get close to my honey hole, i figure at lest two more weeks till some kind of grass starts growing in the monashee's

Probably go a for a cruise up harrison and see how far I can get before I hit snow, I'll be keeping my eyes open.

Saw a nice big bear out 3 weekends ago

shooter and i will be out this weekend, lots of snow in the hills still, but some have been spotted down low. i have a 12 year old who cant wait to go out hunting again,i am an early riser and he is too he is always asking me can we go hunting today, well tommorow morning i can finally say yes. cant wait to see the look on his face. we will keep everbody updated on our bear hunting season. good luck to you all

there is still too much snow in my back yard to even think about going. I don't think i'll be going anywhere for at least three weeks.

Large chunk of R2 is still covered with snow. So going out this weekend is kinda like a lucky shot.

hills still have a bit of snow on them here. I might go for a little hike to see if I spot any early risers down in the valleys. but I will probably hold out until may.

Well, went up Harrison west today, snow stopped me at 20 mile bay, didn't look like there were any vehicle tracks past there either. Saw 3 blackies ............................. of the mule deer variety.:biggrin: No bears or sign, everything's pretty brown still.
