These pictures are from a Record book Ram taken last year in the Northwest Territories. The specific area is unknown and the Guide/Outfitter wants to keep it that way. It looks like 50"+ and could be the New #1 Ram. It's close to the Chadwick ram of 1936, it has to be 196 6/8.

Good to know there still big rams out there.

Beautiful ram no doubt!

Just doesn't quite compete with the Chadwick ram. Maybe someone knows the final score.

Also, I believe it was taken out of the Yukon. I don't believe there are any Stone's in the NWT.

I beleive that ram was taken with archery equipment, and the hunter was there 3 times for that specific ram... I saw those pics in sept. of last year...

I had a email about this ram a while ago, the info I got was it was taken in the yukon with yukon stone outfitters. Horn length was 46x48.I heard it didn't come that close to the chadwick ram becouse the circs are not that heavy.Still a hell of a ram no matter what. The hunters name was Don Snyder I believe.

I believe he ended up taking this ram with a rifle after at least one failed attempt the previous year(not sure about the year before that).

I was told the ram came out of yukon, the guy missed in 2006 with bow and killed it in 2007 with rifle.

Just looked on yukon stone outfitters site, this ram was in their pics.It said their best ram that year was 174 1/8th.it didn't say which rams score this was, but one would asume it was this ram?

Heck of a ram - the kind I've been looking for!

I met Darwin Watson (guide/owner who was on the hunt) a few months ago in Ottawa and he was still pretty pumped about this ram. Now let's have one of us resident hunters harvest one just like that big Cali!

I have finally figured out how to post a picture. I thought you guys would like to see this photo. I was able to guide this fellow from Texas to this big ram. It was 43 x 41. 14 7/8 bases. B&C score 178 7/8. SCI score was 181 1/8. It also took the Gold Award at this years Wild Sheep Foundation in Utah. I will try to post more photos.

there has to be more of those out there....some where.
