After a long winter of glassing bucks and snowshoeing, the time has come. We have been laying a ton of boot tracks latly.

Here are some of the better ATL pictures i've snapped in the last few weeks.

Nice pics Alpine.
I particularly like the first one of the matched set.You can almost see the buck hiding in the Fir cover, head pounding waiting until the moment arrives. He gets up and click pic tells the rest.RB

I spotted this side while side hilling a gross rocky area, I yelled at Darryl. As he was comming down the hill to see my shed, he spotted the match laying behind a tree not 30 feet from me  lol

Nice find there 85. Are you trying to set a new world record for finding the most sheds ??? :). If there is going to be awarded a prize for the most sheds ,it would be a toss up between you Mark and Shed Hunter ,one of you three would get the cigar up to this date . Good find http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/images/icons/icon14.gif.

Good work Terry!!

No wonder all of my friends are finding less sheds than normal. There's a human shed vac working the hills:cool:.

6 hours of trudging for me yesterday and nothing to show for it......hmmmm.....I did see some old boot tracks......must have been you, no doubt:smile:.

Is the best time to go and search when the snow melts a lot? ie. Mid-End of April?

Mark, I will put a tape on that wierd guy tonight. I can't wait for melt to really begin ,so we can start looking for some big tine.

Orangethunder, I started to find ticks about 3 weeks ago, that was in some very low melted out slopes though.

Dirty- All depends on the melting situation, April is the best month though. Just keep tabs on the areas you want to hike in, still be snow in the timber but those ridges melt quick. Once May comes around it starts getting harder and harder as the ground greens up and becomes tough on the eyes.
