I thought mid May. It's always on line earlier than the printed copies get to stores.

Ive never tried the LEH draw before... is there a limit as to how many draws you can go in? If you win, can you give the LEH to someone else, if something comes up? Is this done online? Sorry if im hijacking the thread a tad, dont want to open up a new thread for these quick questions.

Deadline is usually about the 12th of June, Cards out the first week of May generally. LEH synopsis sometimes just a little earlier

1 LEH per species and no you can't give it to someone else.

Cards are always available.
They don't change from year to year.It is the synopsis that we wait for,and as mentioned earlier,it is on line 1st.

Oh Jeez, can you imagine the chaos and scamming if you could give away or sell am LEH?!!!

I'm sure glad that ain't allowed.

They are always out the second week of May as I religously buy them on the 15th each year, don't know why but? Hoping that it will be lucky for me......One year!:biggrin:

I read of a guy in Alberta who e-bayed his grizz tag to preservationists promising to cancel it without harvesting.:icon_frow

I hope they move the deadline forward for the cards to be in. The sooner the Gov't has them , the sooner we can make plans.

Can't wait for the LEH to come out ,this year is the year I get picked for the island elk draw :tongue:.

The only thing you can do is return it and the govt. will give it to someone else...at least with Bison this si how it goes. I think if you get the draw and canot go you should return it so someone else can use. I had a grizz draw once in Kemano and could not go, but at the time I did not even think about returning it...stupid!

I think if you get the draw and canot go you should return it so someone else can use. I had a grizz draw once in Kemano and could not go, but at the time I did not even think about returning it...stupid!


Once the draw is done there is no returning it, there is no secondary draw...maybe one day this will change however.

So long as we're meeting our harvest targets having a second draw isn't required.

This'll be my second year putting in for LEH. Last year was my first. I put in for a doe in 3-30 (Loon Lake area). Didn't get it. Going for the same this year. Maybe a doe in the Princeton area as well.

Maybe we should all make a concerted effort to have cards in as soon as possible, to show it can be done sooner. Put the deadline into the end of May.
The same 15% (or?) will be couriered in at the last day, no matter.
