Probably 75 yard shot... Ran about 50 yards then shot again, went down 25 yards later.

This is one of my favorite bear pics, he's not a black but whatever. It was a grizz that came into camp one night looking for sheep meat.

Those last 2 are the dump bears of the sea, and have taken tooooo many salmon off my lines to count. Sick of them, wish it were open season on them. Dam green peacers want to save them all, they are over run on our coast. They are destroying salmon runs at several river mouths, even seen them as far up as the Limit hole on the Vedder. Always carry a sling shot with lead balls for ammo on sunny days. A guy spends a fortune on his boat, equipment, etc. and hours to hook into a salmon only to have these DUMP BEARS OF THE SEA follow them around like a seagull behind a BC Ferry then take it off your line. I do love it when it's foggy out though. If ya know what I mean. Oh the bear pics, have not figured how to post yet, will one day.

Probably think the same thing of you...always in their fishing spot, stirring up the salmon with your boat, shooting obstacles at them yadda yadda!!!!

Live mount of one of those beasts would be nice hey?!!! Not sure where a guy would put it though!!

That's a mature boar for sure and I'd judge him, in the 6' square range. He's definately not "tank" material(7' +), but if your after a respectable bear, you'd be happy.

Here's my one and only blackie. Shot him with my 300wm at about 160 yards. I was hoping for bang flop, but he put on a bit of a show. 1 more shot and he was done. 6'4". (sorry about the blood!)
