Thanks, I actually should have taken the dominate female as well but she jumped the arrow at 35 yds as she had me pegged all the way and the arrow just missed and sunk into the swamp instead. There were at least 5 of them around me for quite a while and I kept them interested with soft bull grunts while they circled me before my chance came to arrow the dominate male.

Tomahawk, nice wolf probably one of the toughest trophys to take with a bow IMO. Called them in to boot! Awesome!
Bow Walker, yes that is a TD recurve I took a mule deer buck(above) with it as well and then one of the limbs seperated right before I was to go sheep hunting and I replaced it with a compound. When they sent me limbs on warrranty 8 months later they were for 75 pounds and I couldn't shoot it consistantly enough so I am working out now and eating my wheeties so that maybe next fall I will be able to shoot it consistant enough to hunt with it again.

Bwhnter, if they sent you stronger limbs, can't you send them back and get ones that suit you instead of "working up" to the higher poundage? Seems a tad odd, if you don't mind me saying so - unless you want the 70 pounders.
Noel,
They still look impressive as all get out. Good on ya!

Bow Walker,
I had quite a few discussions with them about it and they keep saying that the limbs that I originally sent back damage were the same poundage and if I want lighter limbs then I have to pay for them. I have thought about it but the price has gone from $175 to over $300. I have a coumpound that I enjoy shooting and am trying for animals that I haven't harvested before so I want the extended range and accuracy. I am hitting the gym already to get into shape for hunting season so I just decided to add another set of excersize that will help me with not only shooting my recurve but also with holding my compound more steady as well.
Interceptor,
Nice animals. That has always been a dream of mine, to go to the land down under for a hunting trip. When I used to guide I had an Aussie hunter and he was a hoot. He had all sorts of stories about the animals and the adventures that he had. I look forward to seeing more pics.

P.S. Nice buck Daycort.

Here's some more good eating, 1.5 yr old bull. Lucky shot, he went 18 yds, sliced his jugular vein.
