does anyone have any personal expiernce with pentax scopes? a friend saw their booth and was asking me if they are any good.

I saw their booth at Tradex, not too impressed. My 2 cents.

As far as I know their a Burris in different clothes.

Over the years I have seen tests and anecdotal info on them and by all reports their a decent scope. I think Jon Sundra uses them a fair bit on his personal rifles and testers.

I picked up a used Pentax scope on CGN a few years ago, the model is identical to a Burris FullField II scope, and I think it even had the Ballistic Plex. I got it for a friends 308. It's bright, clear..just like the Burris I have owned. I think it might of been called the Pioneer? not sure
