I may have the opportunity to hunt mulies and whitetail on some private land in the Chetwynd area, next November. My only experience in that neck of the woods, was an early season moose hunt. Can anyone tell me about the late season deer hunting in that area?

a good window mount for the spotting scope, a pillow for the slow times plus it doubles as a good rest off your mirror when it comes time to shoot. don't forget the hot chocolate and baileys:-P.

You lucky bugger! You'll have a great time and will likely see some dandy deer. Any chance you can get on an Elk hunt too?

troutseeker, not that lucky. The elk season will be over. My first day off for the trip is Nov 20th. Should be a good time of year for deer.
Do you have any idea how the mulie population compares to the whitetail population?

Buy tags for both! Seen lots of nice bucks up there. My wifes cousin goes up and always comes back with a beauty mulie buck. Moosin

It is a hunters dream ,there are so many of both species ,If I were to hunt for deer for a week that would be the place I would go.http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/images/icons/icon14.gif.
