I have a Outlaw Lynx 16 foot with a Tuchodi Bottom.
I have loved it but i have it forsale in the .
Off topic items forum.
I have taken this boat to many of the hunting hot spots up here. And consider this boat one of the best all around skinny water boats. That can pack a good load.
What have you guys been running and have you had good luck also? Say the upper muskwa or tuchodi areas?

really hard to beat what you have... its always nice to have a little more cover.... but if you dont mind the cold... you probably have the best you can buy for shallow water...

From what ive heard, that is about the best boat built for them rivers! But then so many other boats are built pretty close to the same.

18ft Lynx HD bottom full UHMW with 175 Sport-jet! Half camper with slope back! Been way back of Muskwa and up past second Lake of Tuchodi. Made by Wolfmade aluminum in Falkland BC. Would never get rid of it as it will be a collectors item one day! Sadly, there will never be another Wolfmade jet-boat built again:-(!

I have been really happy with this boat. i owned the same boat in a 175 as well and I traded to this 240 with the heater and more options 2 years ago.
It will be a sad day when the Lynx goes, but Mama wants an addition to the house. She figures i should down size my toy box.:-(

I have seen the Omineca boats around they seemed to be built well to.

That wolfmade looks nice.

Most of the hardcore boaters that live in fort nelson run Shuman boats from fort st john. Awsome boats that are made for the river systems up here. The bad part is i think there is a 2 year waiting list.

Can someone fill me in on what happened to Wolfee?

He went out for a snowmobile ride behind his place and got back a ways and broke down. Tried walking out and never made it:(.He was found by his wife and another family friend the next morning froze to death! Very, very tragic. Current contracts for the last few jet-boats are being finished by a couple of Wolfe's workers then his wife is selling everything to do with the business. He built an awesome jet-boat! Ramshot.

These boats are actually made by EL-DE Fabricating (owned by Doug Schuman). Doug has boated the Northern Rivers for over 30 years and builds the most extreme shallow water boats out there. The serious boaters here in the North all run his boats including Rock Doctor and his daughters.

I have ridden or driven most boats as most friends have shuman/wolffe boats. these boats are great. The boat I am most impressed with though is the rock crusher. It is a true 8 degree hull, no delta pad and is tuff. It has no bells and whistles and is just a boat (and a 175 SJ). Huck beats this boat and it handle and performs( it helps with Huck being one of the better skinners I have seen as well). Becuase of the handling alone this will be the boat I buy next, hands down.

Daycourt the Schuman boat above is 175 Sport Jet mounted up a little higher than most with a few mods, Dougs son Rick built this himself incorporating a few changes discussed over many nights and just a few beer with various River Rats. We went up the Moberly in Sept with 3 people. Had to unload for this spot on the way down but I'm sure this thing could travel in the ditches of the Alaska Hwy after a rain storm.

Not argueing with you willy, those boats are frickin wicked. I just think I would buy the Rock Crusher. It is a little less money then the Schuman boat to.

I do believe Gary ordered a peanut from Doug last fall and is expecting it this summer early, so I guess we will be beating the piss out of that this summer, after 5 o'clock of course.

Doesnt the rock crusher have bottom that is entirely 1/2 inch 6061? In my opinion that is over kill. Quite a bit of extra wieght for a 175. And pretty hard to pound dents out:smile:..

Doug does build a fantastic boat. I also like the Wolfemade boats (Sadly, as mentioned, there will be no more of them), Lynx's and Rockcrushers are are also high on my list.

I beleive that the first 10' is 1/2 6061 and the remainder is 1/4 6061.
