Start by asking your First Nations friends what their views on it are.

We had twice the hunters and sustainable GOS moose in 3, 5, and 8 in the 70s and 80s. WTF. :-|

We get 60 odd moose allocated to residents in ALL of region 8 for LEH harvest. We get about 100 - 110 immies. Piss poor reason for most guys to spend $25 on a moose tag (I talk with an amazing number of guys that don't buy a tag and tell me about an immy they saw!). I've killed one immy since the regs were changed in the mid 90s.

I miss all the old "regulars" I'd see out moose hunting on the westside in the good old days...:cry:
