Has anyone bought or explored the Camera Adapter Package available for Swarovski spotting scopes ? Varied sizes but not what I need. Is a secondary adapter available, has anyone had to go this route ?
What has been tried and proven/failed for camera adapter rigs ?

I saw the swaro adapter and it looks pretty slick for for 500 bucks I would rather just hold the camera up to the lens. Its pretty easy to use
You use the zoom of the scope and the zoom of the camera and you can bring it in quite close.
This grouse was about 20m away

With abit of playing I got it to this

This shot was a bit farther

All the shot were taken with a basic 3X zoom point and shoot digital and a Bushnell space master spotting scope.

Apparently Minox has come out with a camera that fits into most of the high end scopes. It takes stills, video and also detaches as a regular camera and is waterproof. about $400 IIRC, but not available to May. read about it on the optics forum of the campfire
