Its pretty hard to hold a 12 power steady so there would be a lot of wiggle in that scope view.

well it is just as hard to hold a rifle steady when its scope is on 3 power as it is on 30 :-)
I could actually see 4.5x30 as a useable scope for a varmint hunter, or a paper puncher/hunter.

should be interesting as to how these fare after a few years of svc

they're more of a target/varmint scope than a big game scope, they're not light @ 20oz or so. THey will sell for around $650-850 depending on model

I think I may get one, been looking for a scope but sounds a little heavy but I'll have to pull up my skirt and hunt!:shock:
