Anybody with any decent success on winter springs this year?-Don't know-but it seems to be slow-that is ,when you can get out.

Went out again this morning with Terry [T&Tcharters ]a beautiful sunny morning,no wind, dead flat calm -but not a sniff until after 11am-then we picked up a shaker and a couple of 6-8 lb winter springs.Nothing beats a nice fresh winter spring on the barbeque-puts off winter blahs

I went out Sunday afternoon for a couple of hours. We had a double header in the first 15min, but lost both fish. We stuck with it and managed to come home with a couple of nice fish. I had one for dinner tonight it was very tasty.

am I wrong-or is it correct that the winter springs just aren't as abundant this year?Typical winter spring fishing is generally pretty good off the bluffs-but this year seems really spotty.
