Wild brow tines, blood is part of the process to harvest an animal, don't see it being an issue or is it?

I dont see it as an issue..it's all part of the harvest, but some people around here seem to be bothered by it..so I thought I would apologize for it in advance.

Great buck, nice sized rack! if at all possible we try to clean the animal up a bit before taking the photos, some don't mind the blood but if you want to show the pics off to family and friends there are some that find it distaste full. We try to drag the animal to a clean spot and take lots of pics and then pick out the best ones to show around. The photos you take last forever, take the time to make the deer and you look good! They might end up in Big Buck Magazine!

That deer has that characteristic blacktail look. The rich mahogany colored antler, consistent mass, and even but short tine length on all forks. It seems like a lot of mainland blacktail antlers look that way.

Damn, thats a wicked blacktail if that is what it is.

beauty! whats he score? how many pts?

Muleycatcher
02-03-2008, 06:41 PM
Not sure what it scores..he's not the type of guy to get things scored..so probably never will..as for points I have yet to see the rack in person and he gave very few details in his e-mail..he's a man of few words.:-)

Looks like he is wearing running shoes. Another lucky road hunter? I might have to hang up the boots and buy some new tires for the truck
