hey guys and gals im far off from a newbie to hunting but i am to shotguns:oops: and my question is when they talk about a shotgun's choke what are they talkin about? thanks for the help

The shotguns choke is the amount of constriction at the muzzle of the bbl. It regulates the spread of the shot when you fire a shell loaded with birdshot.

so basically if it has a full choke it will have a tighter shot spread?

The way its measured is % of pellets within a 30" circle @ 40 yds. Heres a a good link for you to read up on it.
