New world record moose or hoax?

I got these photos in an email without any story. Any truth to the claim that this moose taken in Terrace this year is a new world record?

I thought that this photo was making the rounds last week. Folks on here seemed pretty definite that the moose was taken in Russia.

i was told that this rack is actually two moose racks. a smaller one is sitting in/on top. either way, still frigging big.
