Im looking for new hunting areas and i have a friend that uses a set of cabins just outside of Kelowna and I am just wondering if anybody has any info on other cabins out in the bush that are open for use or are rentable. I dont mean to steal some hot spots from people just looking for some new areas to hunt and learn new areas. Thanks in advance.

I have a lake front cabin at Hatheume Lake, halfway between Merritt and Kelowna and is available for rent. My cabin is #14 and is wheel chair accessable. Not sure how good the hunting is yet cuz I usually go to the Peace River Region. You can have a look at www.hatheumelake.com (http://www.hatheumelake.com).

Angel, i have some friends that are thinking about renting out a cabin. It's on a lake, great fishing and hunting. They have a large cabin and a smaller guest cabin, not real sure about details yet,the roads have been deactivated so you would have to quad in a short way down a trail. How many people, what kind of hunting would you be doing? Do you have quads or horses? What ever you decide, try to rent one before LEH is out and maybe you can put in for a moose or elk etc.in that area.

We have a cottage for rent adjacent to crown land. We are 10 minutes from Rock Creek. Hunting is good around here for all ungulates, turkey, bear, etc. We are a sponsor of HuntingBC. Please visit our website.

Lots of the fishing lakes have resorts/cabins for reasonable rent. Not all are open later in the fall, though. Headwaters, Beaver, Dee, Whatshan, Pinaus, Salmon 8-), Kiefer, Bolean, McCullough ?, .........
