Looking to buy a new knife and was wondering if anyone owns any knives from Columbia River Knife and Tool and would recomend them or not . Looking at the fixed blade hunting type models. Thanks

I've owned a couple, and have to say they are no better and no worse than other more expensive knives, pretty solid but nothing amazing. I really have to stop leaving them in gutpiles though.

I have one and have to agree with Ryanb, good knife but nothing special, although I have to admit it's one of my favorite looking knives.

I own and enjoy at least three different Gerber knives. You might give them a look.

I'd love to get one of their F.A.S.T. knives - Assisted opening.

I'd love to get one of their F.A.S.T. knives - Assisted opening.May be the closest PC thing to a usable one-handed opening knife allowed in Canada. Similar to the Kershaws I have and love.

(off-topic Rant) Pathetic isn't it ?? Knives requireing two hands to open are 'safe' , and those that are practical and open with one hand are 'dangerous'....gag....
