Well santa was good to me and left a couple hundred bucks. My old hikers squeeked when they were wet, so I broke down and bought some new ones. With the exchange rate soo good I bought some boots from Cabela's. Been wearing them around the house for the last week, and have decided that it was time to cut off the tags and officially keep em. They are the 12" 600g thinsulate Cabela's guide outfitters. My last pair of hikers were Merrels and were mid height. Loved em, but shit would always get in the top of the boots. I dont care for gaters, and the added height of the new ones swayed me to the tall height. My hunting partner give me hell last year over the sqeeky boots, so I broke down. It was my first year hunting elk and deer seriously, so I figured I better get a little stealthier. Anyways They sure feel good on my feet for new boots. Moosin
