sorry it took me so long to post these for ya Will, not even sure how the pics look but here ya go

"the cougar" bow belonged to my Mom - she gave it to me when I showed a small interest in Bow shoots

"the hunter" bow belonged to my Dad - he gave it to Peter to us when he began bow hunting and since he passed away my Mom said it belonged to me to pass down into the family

as far as I know these bows are from the 50's

Peter found pulling the Ben Pearson bow quite easy at 50# - 55# so he decided to move up to a different recurve and bought a take down bow for easier hiking - this is his bow 65#

I Love the White Belly on that Cougar.....would make a Dandy winter Predator bow !
I guess hence the name "Cougar" ? :razz:

thanks guys - i didn't know what I had except for their sentimental value but I do want to really start shooting that cougar :) - been a long time since I shot a bow so need lots of lessons

I suspect you know your way around that stuff........;)

Please do keep up with those Trad Bows Ali........then you can show my Wife some tricks and perhaps peak her interest abit....I'm still trying to get Her into it ? :sad:

Will, if you get a chance May long weekend there is a TBBC event in Keremeos - Peter and I did this trip one year with our kids to the bow shoot - it was so much - great for kids and your wife - lots of ladies there to talk with and learn about bow shooting - if we can make it this year (around Peter's fishing trips) we will be there

I think JT has more information about it.

Its around 40 years old (i think),#50, 28" and in decent shape.
