I have a 18 foot 10 degree sport jet of theirs.Took it up Tuchodi last year and was very happy with it.I do not think you can beat their pricing, and they are very good to deal with.

One of my favorite jet boats out there...if I could afford one I'd probably like them even more!!!!

I know this is an old thread but anyone have any opinions on the older ali-crafts from the mid 80s?

I bought a 2010 hammerhead from firefish. 8-12 variable hull, with a 5.7 zz4. awesome boat, loves the fuel. No seats , just bare bones , lots of room for gear. Real happy so far.

I have a 1989 22 ft. Ali-craft still running strong & has made 21 trips up muskwa river plus many others. Took the uhmw off 3 years ago & welded 4 planeing stricks on the bottom, cut back 300 rpm & better fuel economy. Must pay alot more attention no letting Captain Morgan drive.

Thanks for the info. I decided on the ali-craft 18' with the outboard. Do you see any disadvantages to the outboard on rivers like the muskwa? How come you removed the uhmw? Any chance you have some pics of your boat the the planeing stricks you put on the bottom?

No pics of the planeing strikes & boat is put away. It is important of placement of strikes, I had mine installed by Exact welding in P.G. They are experienced on installing strikes. The uhmw was good for the first few years but got very scratched up from years of rubbing rocks & caused tremendous amount of drag. Could not find a way to smooth the plastic.
