View Full Version : 9.9 motor restriction on lakes... question?

if i have a 16' alum boat with a 40 horse motor permently "bolted" in place but a 9.9 kicker, can i use the boat on the "9.9 lakes" if i don't run the 40 horse? only the 9.9 ?

any one?

The restriction is on use only, not the options that could be used.

That rule is ridiculous it should be a speed restriction.i have a 25 horse on a 14ft and its no waterskiing boat.I use it for fishing.

Just peal the decals off the 40 hp and slap on some 9.9 decals and your good to go!:-P

CO if he is out on the lake that day will ticket you, my dad got a ticket once in the river had a 7.5 restriction.
