Well hasn't been a Post in here about actual "Hunting" in quite awhile so here's some fresh air.....

Took a walk down one of my favourite Bunny roads...couldn't get out for an afternoon walk which would have been my preference so a Morning one had to do.
Looking back down the road...

Wasn't long before I was cutting Bunny Tracks in the fresh snow...

Sadly didn't see a single Rabbit....not unusual for the morning though in my experience.
I will return for a late afternoon in a day or two:p

Should be more productive !

This was the only critter other then lots of deer I seen.......

He was however, already dead !

No but considering here they are open from Aug 1 through the winter till April 30th..........they come pretty darn close to it:wink:

I will post up some "success" pics when and if I actually Poke one this winter...

Not sure what Killed that Yote but the buzzards sure picked him clean alright ! :D

are you hunting them with a bow?
Yes........with 48#s of pull it should have sufficient penetration:lol:

Thanks Will, with the negative air of some of the more visited threads this is trully a breathe of "fresh air". Consider your self lucky, I would love to take a stroll down that road when I had the time too!

That'd be my guess..... the back feet were still on and I could see where the skin was cut pretty cleanly around each ankle so I'm guessing somebody shot a yote, skinned it and dumped it there for the Crows.

That pic is bad ass, there are a few good spots around the loops for those silly rabbits, hopefully you arrow one soon, that'd be sweet

And what would be your point blank range on a bunny, w/ a 48# pull, using the arrows that you're flinging???

We'll get into wind drift and inclines later...

That right there is the trick w/ bunny's (getting under 40' of them). You have a challenging hunt ahead of you, Robin Hood

Ya might wanna come down here (reg 2) and try your luck on my Trophy Squirrels sometime... They scare the crap outta some.

Bow Walker is dying to try... Maybe between the two of you, you could pool together the access fee.
