Went into the Loops yesterday to do some Christmas Shopping. Dropped my wife at the mall, hit Wholesale Sports and then went out to Kamloops Lake to glass for sheep. Counted over 90, mostly ewes and lambs. Took some pics and then picked up my wife from the mall and headed for home. Was the least stressful day of Christmas Shopping I've ever had.

Frenchbar,
I didn't have time to do much glassin. These were the first group I saw. Obviously a ewe/lamb group with only 1 good ram in the group of 90. Several small bananas but that was about it. I'm thinkin the majority of the bigger rams must be bached up again for the winter. Would like to get out a few times over Christmas and see if I can find those Slammers and snap some pics.
I'm looking forward to seeing the pics from that new camera of yours. You will definately like it. I know I sure like mine.

The price was right for the camera, they have dropped a bit in price over the last yr.ive got a lot to learn yet on all its funtions.going out this week to see if i can find the big boys.the bunch i seen the other day only had a couple smaller rams.i think i know where the bigger ones are , just got to go for a bit of a hike. have basically used the auto point and shoot so far, been impressed with it so far .

Yea I see they dropped the price by over a hundred bucks from what I paid this summer. Ain't that the way it always goes. My suggestion is to just mess around with it and take a whack of pics playing with the various settings. It's a fun camera.
