Which do you prefer for Rattling?

A Mulie/Blacktail typical branch set or a Whitetail typical set, as far as how they clash and fit together when you rattle and how they feel in the hands?

I don't think it matters much. That said, probably easier to get suitable whietail antlers. I use a set of 4pt WT sheds I found and have rattled in both blacktail and whitetail with them.

I have one set of BT antlers that would be great, an older heavy 3x4 I shot about 10 years back .But I prefer to keep them where they are, on the euro mount :)

I bought a set from a local sporting goods store. They are plastic replicas, in the shape of a whitetail antlers.

I use two med 4 point mulie sheds. I hold them so the backsides contact each other when rattlin. It's a great way to avoid smashing your fingers. Works great.

There is plastic and wood rattle bags, woods useless when wet. The plastic is loud and, like pointed out already very compact, carrying around a big set of antlers can be a pain or not practical. The guy I use his rattling style/sequence has brought lots of Blacktails in with plastic rattle bag, they work great in the rain or loud weather because when real antlers get soaked, they lose some sound for sure. I'm going to pick up a plastic bag this year.

Alright looks like I will be putting together a nice WT typical set of antlers for rattling.

Right now got a small 4 point BT and 3 point WT set (which has brought me in 2 bucks) and last year made a large 4 point mulie set, nothin with them and they can suck carryin around but can get loud.
