Power Bugle

Who out there uses the Power Bugle elk call. I have to get replacement bands for mine and I'm wondering what the difference is between the grey and white bands. Talk about hooked. Already getting ready for next year.

White seemed to be the best for me when I used one for a few years...all bulls respond to the white fairly well... whereas the the grey seemed to workd better on larger bulls only...

I have had simular results to blacktail. I found the gray ones were a little to BIG BULL sounding and you dont want to scare the legal ones away they are to think they can kick your a====s. I have used the Power Buggle for 12 years now and we have 6 guys in our camp who use them.

Grey is high pitch, white is regular.

I have had really good luck with the grey bands in my neck of the woods. Started making my own last year and experimenting. I cut the fingers out of latex gloves and then cut them to size. Way cheaper and some sound better than the store bought ones.
