Just wondering where you hunt most in BC. I know out east hunting areas are getting rare due to the increasing number of hunters and public perception. Being new to B.C., I’d like to get a good picture of what to expect…Also, is it common for forest management companies give out leases to hunters?

Thanks,

Alex

Crown land for me ,the only problem i have sometimes when hunting on this land ,is that some hunters think they own it.http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/images/icons/icon8.gif.

YOU MEAN I DONT ................... LOL TK

I agree ,where we were @ the Parsnip,i encountered more hunters in 1 week than i have in all my 15 years of hunting

ON A SIDE NOTE

Think the crown land is bad,try driving the hwy's or fishing the rivers in the Fraser Valley,Lower Mainland !!!! Sometimes i think it would be easier to Grizzly hunt naked with a straw and a pee (sorry for the bad visual)  LOL TK

Crown land mostly, have on occasion hunted in private property.

Gotta love BC, we have so much room all around us (once we're out of the cities). Compare this to many states in the US and one can see how blessed we are.

There is so much Crown Land that there is little or no need to seek out private land (ecxept for some duck/geese hunting instances) to do your huntinh/hiking/camping/etc.

We are truly blessed in this country.

It'd going to be a long time before the Clearwater Joke dies! I hunt both, but I like crown land way more than private.

Almost all my hunting has been on crown land. I have permission to hunt acouple of fields in the Bulkley Valley and I've hunted coyote/wolves with Todbartell a couple of times in the fields he has permission to access but that's pretty much it.
