Actually I've thought it over and considering what I'd put into a potential Grizz Hunt for costs the Gun would be the cheapest thing to add to the mix.
Add to that My Bud has a certain 338 Ruger of mine I'm very Familiar with I can "borrow" for special occasions :smile:

Good grief!!:lol::lol::lol:

Unless you bought your fall LEH cards off a band of nomadic gypsies, I'm sure they will be offered at the same place.

I'm curious too.... I have never put in for limited entry anything and would like to know the process for grizzly. I have deer hunted all my life and believe it or not never had a desire to go for bear. Figure a grizzly would be something to get before i die!

Thats why i bought my 300 WM this time last year,so i could get a NIL on the LEH for a spring Griz.Worked out i would need it anyways, cuz of the Bull(s--t)Moose draw we got for the Parsnip, which still yielded a fat NIL LOL !!!! TK

PS Good luck on your draw TK

Now for the debate on which rifle to bring, or maybe I should just lay them all on the floor and let them fight it out amongst themselves:smile:

Haven't found one yet :cry:. I would go heavy with the spices! My tried and true recipe for the 300 wmag is 220 grain partitions with 74 grains of RL25 :wink:

It's a well-known fact that a Nosler Partition will bounce right off a grizzly bear, just making it mad so it kills you.

He sold it after it bounced off a Grizzly...........:-(

But I believe GrandMaster Tod was meaning that I(as in me) have no Grizz gun:wink:

and yes the 8mm is gone. If I get a draw I will most likely use my 30-06 with 200 gr TSX

That won't bounce off.......I guarantee it;)

I shot a small Blackie just under 5' with a 30 cal 165 X Bullet (blue meanie) frontal shot went in the shoulder and exited the opposite rear hip ! :cool:

He didn't go far........;)

Daycort, I'm with you this spring also if drawn. I use muzzy 125 which have worked great on blackies, I have been considering using Muzzy phantoms on these big brutes just to get better cut on impact.

I have a LEH application if some one needs it, PM me.

My Back up, being able to run faster then Puppychow or QnsCowboy!!!

To answer Nails comment, I have seen both QnsCowboy and Nails run, both are very quick. Description of Qnscowboy would be a gazzelle and Nails would be an impala. Me, I have a 300 Weatherby Mag. My only question would be, since when have either of you ever run away from confrontation or conflict, even a big grizzly bear.
