Ruger 1022 Scope

I am going to buy a scope for my Ruger 1022. What scopes have you got on yours or would sugest buying for that 22.

I have a Tasco 3x9 on my Ruger. Nice & clear, works great.

An uncomplicated Bushnell is good too. You don't need to spend too much money

BearSniper is your Tasco a standard length or a shorter scope. Looking at some differant scopes on the web and they vary in length from aprox 10" to 14". I was worried a long one might not fir properly.

Bushnell 3x9 on mine. Does the job and cheap.

Is it a grouse/small game gun or a pimped out range toy?? On my chicken gun I put a Leupold FX4 4x28, It's great, super clear, nice and small for bush whacking after those flubbed shots!

If it's for range days and longer distance, any quality 3x9 would work great.

Mueller APV 4.5-14x on mine. Cheaper than a Bushnell Elite and the 14x is useful for the range, while the 4.5x is more than enough for grouse/squirrel.
