View Full Version : Seeking Intel MU's 7-13, 7-14, 6-5, 6-6

Not often I ask for advise, but here goes...

I will be in the above noted MU's for a few weeks when the rifle season opens for 4 point Mulies and Any Buck Whitetails.

The question I have for any familiar with the area is: Are there sufficient whitetail numbers to warrant dragging along my smokepole?

Don't need GPS coordinates, just a simple answer as to whether they exist up there or not...

Definitely whities in 7-13,7-14. The MU 6 MU's I'm not sure about! Mulies close early in November in 7-13, 7-14, Nov 15 i believe? Anyways, if you are out roaming the wilderness, i'd strap on the Weatherby if it was me! Moosin

7-13 7-14 most definitely both species of deer. Some nice ones also !!

Not overly fussy for mulies as table-fare, but they do make a fine sausage...

Will toss in the Old Reliable for this go.

If you’re in the 6-5 and have any questions feel free to PM. A good chunk of the eastern end burnt this summer. Id defiantly have a rifle along, always the odd wolf or few kicking around that southern side of the valley as well.

I Hunt in 6-06 and will be there during the Moose LEH starting Sept 25 , As far as deer goes I have never seen much for deer in all the years I have Hunted in 6-06 It doesn't seem to be a good deer area but it is a very good moose area , I have seen the odd deer now and then but that's about it , hope this helps .
