meat cutters in the PG area

Any recommendations in the Prince George area for meat cutters. I have an early LEH for moose and feeling optomistic. lol

There are a couple other meat cutters in the area [and at least one new one I heard of], but those others aren't the best from my experience.

We called in advance of our moose hunt at the beginning last October but by the time we killed our first moose every single butcher was full for two hours in every direction.

thanks everyone for the suggestions. The draw is 7-23. I might be headed up next few days as the smoke down south here in Logan Lake is really thick and the wife has MS and really affects her. Soooo why not head north into the hopefully clearish air and snoop around a bit for some horns.

Northern big game is lightmag on here. Not sure how active he is on here these days. Highly recommended.

Hunnifords great service. Not a huge fan of their sausage but the cut and wrap service is great.

They had good sausage when Ken was running it, but since the son in law took over it went downhill, I'm guessing he is cheaping out on the spices.

I get sausage done from Andre at Hunnifords every year. I have no complaints about taste or texture, or portioning. Only complaint is the turn around on sausage, as he is very busy. I have been getting sausage done there for 30 years, and have never had a complaint, except turn around. Moosin

Hunnifords always took a long time to make the sausages, but my last batch of brats from Andre were terrible definitely not what I was expecting. His honey/garlic bear pepperoni is good....
