Does anyone know of any commercial boats that frequent this route and that might take someone up Bute Inlet? I’ve talked to some places in Campbell river, but was wondering about logging boats etc

Have you talked to Homathco people?

That’s a hell of a long way to go, but what an epic spot! Best of luck to you!

Many people have put in for the draws up Bute because of better chance of winning but have no idea of the logistics nightmare to get there. You need a landing craft to get quads in at the very least a boat to bring in bikes motor or pedal. You have to check in with logging outfits in the area as there may be active logging. I know of multiple peaple that have gotten bulls up there and have been there myself. If the weather blows in you may not be able to leave the Inlet until the storm is over fairly nasty bit of water. If you can overcome these hurtles you will have a good time and a very good chance at an elk
