Hunting buddies?

I just had another nightmare about my leh hunting buddy.

He asked that I bring him a young bear to his cabin. When my young son and I arrived, a party was brewing. My hunting buddy thanked me and invited us to stay the night. It was late.

I wasn't in a good mood. Who would want a live bear in their cabin? A lot of young kids around too. The bear snapped at one of them so I stayed up all night keeping this bear from doing bear things and then we left at first light.

Another dream.

We're hunting bison and see a herd. The herd bull walks into an elementary school followed by the others. Just as the bull is about to go out of sight down the hall my hunting buddy shoots at it, a desperate shot, into the school.

I was screaming mad. My hunting buddy dissolved in my dream. I went into the school to see if everyone was OK. I was so passed but I saw the school counselor, Sarah Silverman. She made me laugh and, well, I always thought she was hot.

Wtf is all that comes to mind. But I do know how dreams go and everything at the time seems totally plosible to be happening.

The only places of sanity in the LML are gun stores and the gun ranges. But you have to battle the insanity to get in or out of them. :)

It's really tough to find a good hunting buddy. 😕

I owe my 'buddy' a lot. We've had some good hunts but man, he's a hard guy to be around. He makes questionable decisions which I have trouble sleeping with. But, I don't know anybody else that will prioritize the time, money and effort to do a big hunt. In that way, I guess he's like meth.

No group draw for us this year means I might have a chance to break the habit.

You should have those dreams interpreted, sometimes they are telling you something important. Like you shouldn't hunt with people that would shoot down the hallway of a school!

I've hunted on the charlottes a few times. These dreams remind me of those times - the hunters that I would encounter... One guy nearly shot us while we were in the tent at 11:30 pm.
