Well I am new to this forum and have been in Alberta for the last 5 years.My hunting seson got cut short by a broken leg the first week of october:mad: so all I got was a rabbit and some grouse.I was woundering if ross lake in hope is still good for spring bear as I need somthing to look forword to this spring.

Welcome to the site. The entire road to Ross can be good for bears. They're not that big as a rule but it's an easy day out!!

Thanks guys I would normaly be looking for a big bear but with the loss of this season the first one that slips up is getting an arrow:biggrin:.Don't worry I will post pics when it happens.

Look up the regs, if I'm not mistaken there is no shooting inside the park boundaries in the spring.

Bow hunter I have a loop hole:twisted: don't worry I know the regs like the back of my had.When you have a broken leg all you can do is look at maps,read regs and plan hunts.Thanks for trying to look out for me though.

I've looked in the backroads map but I couldn't find this place. I was in Harrison today for blacktail but no luck. Just wondering if anybody knows. Thanks.

2-2 hope go south on silver skagit road.If that don't help you need a better map.

Your right on the money, no shooting in the park after March 31st.
