Hi,

I've been trying to get ahold of klappan air to book a flight for this summer. Does anyone know if they are operating still out of Kluachon this year? Or if someone else has taken over serving the area?

Tatogga is closed now due to being sold to Red Chris mine. I flew with Klappan air last year and hope to again this coming summer. They fly out of Kluachon lake about 15 minutes past tatogga.

Definitely better than a summer cape and not like a late fall cape but you’ll be pleased. Provided you take a Billy it should have a decent beard and nice uniform soft hide that is thickening up. Should be a memorable fly-in hunt!

A thing of the past for moose and caribou up in 6 and 7. My guess is won’t ever see it again, especially with caribou now going to LEH.

This is the exact reason I wanted to jump on getting redemption on my Goat since the last one was stolen by a Sow Grizzly! I was worried they we're going to close Goats like they did Caribou right after I got mine.
